Four cited for drug related incidents during Findlay OVI checkpoint

FINDLAY — Three individuals were cited for possession of marijuana and one for drug paraphernalia during an OVI checkpoint held Saturday in Findlay.

A total of 858 vehicles came through the checkpoint. Of those six were diverted for further investigation. OVI checkpoints deter individuals from driving impaired while raising public awareness of the issue.

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers were joined by officers from the Findlay Police Department and deputies from the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office.
