LIMA — The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Lima held its 2nd Annual BeanTown Poetry Slam Aug. 18.

Freddy Dunlap won first place, receiving two trophies and a cash award for his original poetry. Judy Decker received the Creative Design Award for her original 2018 poster and University of Northwestern Ohio professor Holly Norton received an Excellence in Poetry Award.

Rhodes State College professor Jacob King received the MC Meister Award and fellow Rhodes State professor Fred Arzola received the Finley Ward Award for Fostering and Nourishing Poetry and Creative Writing in the Lima Area.
