LIMA — Lima Police is looking for a man who robbed the Rite Aid pharmacy Friday at 1415 Bellefontaine Ave.
According to a news release, a black man entered the store just before 4 p.m. He gave a note to the pharmacist saying it was a robbery, showed a gun in his waistband and threatened harm if his written instructions weren’t followed.
He was given the box of medication he wanted, and he ran away from the store to the northeast.
He tripped and dropped some of the drugs but picked them up and continued to run, the news released stated.
Police found clothing, some of the medication and the box it was in a few blocks away.
The suspect is described as early 20s, medium to dark complexion, 5’8” to 6 feet tall and with a medium build. To report information, call 419-812-0059 or 419-229-STOP.
