Putnam County Common Pleas Court

July 24

JP Morgan Chase Bank, Westerville, was granted judgment against Donald P. Duling, Columbus Grove, and Jill A. Duling, Columbus Grove, in the amount of $116,946.46, plus interest and costs.

Ryan L. Hefner, Sr., 42, 631 W. Sycamore St., Apt. A-12, Columbus Grove, was referred to the WORTH Center for violating the terms of supervision. The violations included using cocaine and not reporting to his probation officer as required. He was placed on five years community control, must maintain and obtain employment and successfully complete all counseling and treatment recommended. Hefner had been convicted of possession of drugs.

July 25

Matthew J. Hickle, 22, Lebanon Correction, was sentenced to four years in prison for violating the terms of supervision. The violations include stealing from a Walmart in Findlay and a Walmart in Seneca County, Wolfies Nuts and Great Scot in Findlay, operating a vehicle without a driver’s license and not informing his probation officer where he was residing. He was given credit for 1,100 days served. He had originally been convicted of felonious assault and theft.

Tax Ease Ohio, LLC, Dallas, Texas, was granted a foreclosure against Rick J. Thomas, McComb, and Belinda J. Thomas, McComb, in the amount of $1,756.52, plus interest and costs.

Putnam County Treasurer Tracy Warnecke was granted a forfeit of lands judgment from Angel Martinez, Montpelier, to the village of Belmore, and the Leipsic school district. Last November, the treasurer was awarded the amount of $1,847.10, in delinquent taxes on the property.

July 26

Stacy N. Hayes, McComb, and Ossie T. Hayes, McComb, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married Aug. 3, 2013 in Findlay and have no children.

Putnam County Municipal Court

July 23

Michael S. Simpson, 33, 573 S. Pierce St., Lima, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension. Sentence: $150 fine and court costs.

July 24

Virginia L. Bowling, 46, 18526 Road B-13, Continental, charged with felonious assault, a felony, bound over to common pleas court.

Brandon J. Meyer, 20, 11332 Road E, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to underage consumption. Sentence: 30 days jail, 27 days suspended, $250 fine, and six-months license suspension. A charge of first-offense OVI was dismissed.

July 26

Chad A. Bogart, 35, 206 Eakin St., Columbus Grove, pleaded no contest to domestic violence and was found guilty. Sentence: 180 days jail, 170 days jail, fined $250, and complete mental health assessment and abide by recommendations.
