LIMA — The community helped celebrate the opening of The Springs of Lima Thursday, a new senior living community.
The Springs of Lima is one of over 100 facilities owned by Trilogy Health Services LLC. This location, as well as Springview Manor, are the two facilities in Lima owned by the company.
“We only select to be in places where we are welcome and that is one of the great things we can say about this opportunity here,” said President and CEO of Trilogy Randall Bufford during The Springs of Lima grand opening. “We have always been made to feel at home in this community.”
The new facility on 370 N. Eastown Road will offer assisted living, memory care, long-term care, short-term rehab, outpatient therapy, respite care and adult care.
Residents can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared and served by chefs in large formal dining rooms or they can dine in private dining rooms for dinner parties with family and friends.
There are also gated courtyards with covered porches, specialized exercise programs, art therapy, a beauty salon, and an ice cream parlor.
The Springs of Lima Executive Director Jessica Trinko is proud of her staff and the progress they have made over the past few months to open the new facility.
“This has been such an exciting journey,” said Trinko. “One of the great things about this company is that they continue to grow future leaders. This is a beautiful campus — everything about it, from the decorations, to the layout, to the accommodations, to the residents who are absolutely beautiful, but there’s nothing more amazing than these people.”
Trilogy Health Services LLC is committed to hiring skilled and caring staff members who are dedicated to fulfilling the needs of the residents at The Springs of Lima, according to Bufford.
“Our main goal is to create a home,” said Bufford. “Yes, there’s a healthcare responsibility, but our job is to take care of people and taking care of employees first so that they can be in position to serve our residents.”
