LIMA — A benefit for Landon Rinaldi will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday, July 21, at Springbrook Gardens, 4240 N. West St., Lima.
Rinaldi has a rare skin disease that affects approximately one out of 20,000 children per year, Epidermolysis Bullosa. Children affected by the disease are called “Butterfly Children” because they are as fragile as a butterfly’s wings. There is no cure nor treatment for the condition.
At the benefit, there will be more than 100 items being auctioned, a 50/50 raffle and food to purchase. Landon will also be present. The benefit is being used to help offset some of his medical bills not covered by insurance.
