Cairo crash injures 1, takes out power to area

CAIRO — More than 100 homes in the Cairo area were left without power Thursday afternoon when a semitrailer overturned near the intersection of Stewart Road and Lincoln Highway at about 1:24 p.m.

Emergency responders from Cairo were dispatched to the scene of the truck accident.

The driver of an SUV that collided with the truck was taken to an area hospital for treatment of her injuries.

The Lima post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating.

Additional information was unavailable Thursday evening.
