WAPAKONETA — A Wapakoneta man was rushed to Lima Memorial Health System on Monday after being struck by a vehicle.
Ermine Wildermuth, 86, of Wapakoneta, was crossing Hardin Pike Road westbound toward his residence after getting his mail at approximately 4:20 p.m. Monday when he was struck by a 2014 Honda Accord traveling southbound on Hardin Pike Road that was driven by Linda Brown, 62, of Wapakoneta.
Wildermuth sustained incapacitating injuries and was transported to Lima Memorial Health System by St. Johns EMS. Brown was uninjured.
A Lima Memorial Health System spokesperson said Wildermuth was in fair condition, with non-life threatening injuries.
Alcohol or drugs were not suspected factors in the accident.
