Public’s help sought in robbery, assault of pizza delivery driver

LIMA — The Allen County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information surrounding the robbery of a pizza delivery man at approximately noon Sunday.

According to a statement from the sheriff’s office, a driver for a local company attempted to deliver a pizza in the 1400 block of Plainfield Drive when he was struck in the head with an unknown object and his money was stolen. The suspects fled the area on foot.

One subject was described as a short black male with short black hair wearing a black t-shirt, black pants and Nike flip-flops. A second subject was a tall black male with facial hair/goatee wearing a white t-shirt and wind pants.

The driver did not require medical treatment at the time of the incident. If anyone has any information on this incident is asked to contact Detective Nate Music at 419-993-1433.
