LPD K-9 scores drug bust, 2 arrested

LIMA — Two people were arrested Friday after drugs were found during a traffic stop.

Their names were not released late Friday.

According to a Lima Police news release, Patrolman Torres and his K-9 partner King stopped a vehicle at Jameson and Rice avenues at about 4:30 p.m. Friday. The driver, who owned the car, had a warrant for her arrest. King alerted on the vehicle, and the officer found marijuana, paraphernalia, “dabs” and over 600 oxycodone pills.

The driver and passenger are held on suspicion of possession of a schedule II controlled substance at the Allen County Jail.
