June 22

Markus A. Williams, 31, 5302 Harbor Blvd., Columbus, was sentenced to 30 days jail for violating the terms of community control. He was placed on five years community control, must obtain and maintain employment and complete all treatment and counseling ordered. He had been convicted of possession of drugs (heroin).

Eric M. Thomas, 25, 504 E. Fifth St., Delphos, was sentenced to 180 days jail for an amended charge of permitting drug abuse. The judge suspended 130 days of the sentence and he was given credit for 33 days served provided he obtain and maintain employment and complete all treatment and counseling ordered.

June 25

Christopher M. Shomsky, 34, 300 E. Main St., Belmore, was sentenced to 180 days jail and fined $500 for permitting drug abuse. The judge suspended 120 days of the sentence and the fine. He was also sentenced to 180 days and fined $500 for permitting drug abuse. The jail was suspended provided he obtain and maintain employment and complete all treatment and counseling ordered.

Community control for Chace D. Keiser, 27, 424 S. Walnut St., Ottawa, was suspended until he is returned to the jurisdiction of the court. The court has been made aware that Keiser was sentenced to 11 months in prison for possession of heroin by the Hancock County Common Pleas Court.

Katie Hadsell, Ottawa, was granted a divorce from Dustin Hadsell, Columbus Grove. They were married Jan. 6, 2009 in Putnam County and have two children.

June 26

Kyle B. Brown, 27, 12331 Waterstone Lane, Apt. 723, Perrysburg, was sentenced to 180 days jail for attempted aggravated vehicular assault. The judge suspended 170 days, fined him $1,000 with $625 suspended and placed him on a class five license suspension. He will be given credit for six days jail upon completion of DIP. He must obtain and maintain employment and complete all treatment and counseling ordered. Charges of driving under the influence and possession of drugs were dismissed.

June 27

Nichole I. Sargent, Ottawa, was granted a divorce from John M. Sargent, Columbus Grove. They were married Oct. 16, 2010 and have one child.

June 19

Troy M. Csomos, 19, 7848 Road E, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to underage consumption. Sentence: 30 days jail, suspended, $175 fine. He also pleaded guilty to second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: 30 days jail, 27 days suspended, $250 fine.

Gage R. Irwin, 20, 100 Sneery St., Columbus Grove, pleaded no contest to underage possession and was found guilty. Sentence: $375 fine. He also pleaded no contest to OVI and was found not guilty.

June 26

Mary A. Smith, 54, 115 Truax Road, Cloverdale, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one-year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP, and complete alcohol and drug assessment.

June 28

Mike Pardo, III, 21, 25 Vine St., Apt. 10, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to drug paraphernalia. Sentence: $150 fine.

Terrell D. Huff, 19, 3205 County Road 75, Ada, pleaded guilty to drug paraphernalia. Sentence: $150 fine and six-month license suspension.
