Woman cut in Lima domestic dispute, 2 charged

LIMA — For the second time in as many days, a domestic situation in Lima turned violent when a knife reportedly became part of the equation.

Police were dispatched Thursday just before midnight to 567 1/2 W. Elm St. in response to a domestic violence report. According to Detective Jesse Harrod of the Lima Police Department, officers upon their arrival learned that Grant Lamb, 58, and Leanne Jackson, 58, had become embroiled in an argument. Jackson suffered a minor cut to her face and was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was treated and released, Harrod said.

Police arrested Lamb and Jackson, who reportedly reside together the Elm Street residence, on charges of domestic violence. The charges will be referred to Lima Municipal Court for further action.
