LIMA — A 69-year-old Lima woman was taken into custody early Thursday after allegedly stabbing her son during a domestic incident.
Lima police were dispatched at approximately 3 a.m. to 561 Prospect Ave. in response to a domestic violence call. Daniel Edwards, 40, told police he was engaged in an argument with his mother, Patricia Wilkerson, who stabbed him in the hand with an unknown object.
The woman was taken into custody by officers from the Lima Police Department without incident, according to a department spokesman.
Daniel Edwards’ wounds were described as minor and non-life threatening, but he was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Patricia Wilkerson was charged with suspicion of felonious assault.
