Student Integrated Arts Filmmaker Boot Camp coming to Lima


LIMA — Lima native Nick Kellis will be hosting the Student Integrated Arts Filmmaker Boot Camp from June 30 to July 18 at Veterans Memorial Civic Center, 7 Town Square.

During the camp students aged 6 to 12 can choose between a tech, art, writing and directing, and production and set operation tracks.

The acting intensive weekend will be June 30 and July 1 with Jason Narvy, the Chair of the Department of Theater at Concordia University of Chicago.

The integrated film arts boot camp training will be from July 9 to 13, and the 3-day shoot and edit intensive day will be from July 16 to 18 with southern California filmmaker Aaron Martin.

Each class for students is a suggested donation of $5, a $20 donation for the acting intensive weekend and a $150 donation for mastering a whole movie-making track.
