Family Promise receives donation from Ohio Cycleworx

LIMA — Family Promise received a donation of $3,055.25 from Ohio Cycleworx owner Tim Allison Friday morning.

The money was raised by Ohio Cycleworx from a Scrabble run motorcycle show and car show, held the second Saturday of May annually. This is the ninth year for the fundraiser.

Family Promise is a faith-based agency that helps give shelter to homeless families and connect them with groups that can help with employment and permanent housing. It is the only shelter in Allen County that serves entire families, without separating them. For details, visit www.FamilyPromiseLimaOhio.com.
