Water line break causes boil advisory in part of Delphos

DELPHOS — Residents in parts of Delphos should boil their water after a water line break today.

The Delphos Department of Public Utilities announced an 8-inch water main line broke on North Main Street between 10th and 11th streets. Residents throughout the city have low water pressure and/or discolored water.

The boil advisory is for all residents and businesses north of the railroad tracks.

Under a boil advisory, all consumed water should be brought to a rolling boil for a full three minutes before consuming it. It’s a precautionary measure until samples can be tested to confirm water purity.

Delphos will issue another notice when people no longer must boil water. If customers have questions, they should call the utility office at 419-695-4010.
