Lincoln Park dance to be held Aug. 3

LIMA —The Al Best Band will be playing from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, Aug. 3, at Lincoln Park, Shawnee St. and East Elm St., Lima. The dance is free and open to the public.

The Lincoln Park dances will be held every Friday through August 10. The entertainment for the dances include:

These dances are organized by Carolyn Detrick in association with the Lima Parks and Recreation; and sponsored by The Kewpee, Superior Credit Union, Dr. Charles butts, Husky Lima Refinery and Tom Ahl Family of Dealerships.

Due to construction, Lima’s Lincoln Park Shelter House can be reached from Bellefontaine Ave., north on Shawnee Street and from East North Street south on Shawnee.
