ALLEN COUNTY

Interstate 75 between Bentley Road and state Route 103 will be restricted to one lane at times for a bridge repair project. Work will occur on I-75 over Riley Creek in Allen County and on the county Road 15 bridge over Interstate 75 in Hancock County. The project is expected to be completed in late September. Work is being performed by Miller Brothers Construction, Archbold.

The project will have the following anticipated impacts to traffic:

Interstate 75 will be restricted to one lane in each direction through the work zone between 7 a.m. Sunday, June 3, and noon Friday, June 8 during work on the Riley Creek structure. A maximum width restriction of 13 feet will be in place during the lane restriction.

Variable speed limits are in place through the work zone. Electronic messages boards display the posted, legal speed limit, which will be reduced during construction operations and presence of workers in the area. The posted speed limit on the electronic boards is enforceable by law.

State Route 65 between Grand Avenue and state Route 115, Lima, is reduced to one lane through the work zone at various locations for work related to a roadway rehabilitation project that will last through the summer. Work is being performed by the Shelly Company, Findlay.

The following impacts to traffic are occurring:

Traffic has been switched on state Route 65 between Northern Avenue and Jacobs Avenue, just north of Casa Lu Al Restaurant, to the southbound side of the roadway while widening work on the northbound side of the road takes place.

One lane of traffic is maintained in both directions. The turn lane is not available.

Traffic delays can be expected during the project.

State Route 81 from Wapak Road to Eastown Road, Lima, is no longer restricted as curb ramp work is mostly complete. Resurfacing of the route will occur in the coming weeks. Work is being performed by Shelly Company, Findlay.

Interstate 75 northbound between state Route 81 and Napoleon Road will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for pavement repair. Work is being performed by the ODOT Allen County maintenance garage.

AUGLAIZE COUNTY

US 33 between state Route 29 and I-75, Daily lane closures March 26th – July 31st between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm. One lane will remain open in each direction.

State Route 219 between Hardin Pike and CR 25A, ROAD CLOSURE June 11th – 15th. The official detour is: I-75 to state Route 274 to state Route 29.

HANCOCK COUNTY

Interstate 75 between Bentley Road and state Route 103 will be restricted to one lane at times for a bridge repair project. State Route 103 between county Road 9 and township Road 65, between the villages of Jenera and Arlington, closed May 23 for approximately 30 days for a culvert replacement. Traffic is detoured onto U.S. 68, U.S. 30 and state Route 235 back to state Route 103. Work is being performed by Miller Contracting Group, Ottoville.

U.S. 224 between township Road 276 and county Road 23 in West Independence closed May 21 for approximately 45 days for a bridge overlay project. The project also includes the replacement of approach slabs on the bridge, the addition of curtain walls and upgrades to guardrail. Traffic is detoured onto state Route 12 and U.S. 23 back onto U.S. 224. Work is being performed by Vernon Nagel, Inc., Napoleon.

State Route 330 between state Route 568 and township Road 175, north of Value, is now open following a culvert replacement.

State Route 330 over state Route 15, Vanlue, will close May 29 for approximately four months for a bridge deck replacement. Work is being performed by E.S. Wagner, Oregon.

The project will have the following impacts to traffic:

State Route 330 over state Route 15 closed May 29 for approximately four months.

State Route 330 northbound traffic is detoured onto state Route 15 eastbound, U.S. 23/state Route 103, and state Route 15 westbound back onto state Route 330.

State Route 330 southbound traffic is detoured onto state Route 15 westbound, state Route 37 and state Route 15 eastbound back to state Route 330.

Lane restrictions on state Route 15 approaching the bridge are in place through the duration of the project.

State Route 698 over Interstate 75, between Rawson and Findlay, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for bridge repair beginning June 11. Shoulder restrictions on Interstate 75 beneath the state Route 698 overpass are to be expected during the project, which should last through late June. Work is being performed by Complete General Construction, Columbus.

HARDIN COUNTY

State Route 31 between Bales Road and county Road 160, south of the city of Kenton, is expected to close June 6 for approximately two days for railroad repair. Traffic will be detoured onto state Route 292 and state Route 273 back onto state Route 31. Work is being performed by Safety Services and Supply, Inc.

State Route 53, just south of Patterson, closed April 2 for approximately 90 days for a bridge deck replacement. Traffic is detoured onto state Route 31, U.S. 68 and state Route 81 back onto state Route 53. Work is being performed by Eagle Bridge Company, Sidney.

Berm repair will restrict traffic to one lane through the work zone at the following locations. Work is being performed by the ODOT Hardin County maintenance garage.

State Route 235 between state Route 309 and Roundhead

State Route 31 between Kenton and the Union County line

State Route 195 between county Road 110 and township Road 100 (East Cottonwood Road), just south of McGuffey, will close June 6 for approximately 30 days for a resurfacing and widening project. Traffic will be detoured onto county Road 110, state Route 235 and state Route 309 back onto state Route 195. Work is being performed by Bluffton Paving, Bluffton.

State Route 309 between the Allen County line and the city of Kenton will be reduced to one lane through the work zones for resurfacing beginning June 6. Work is being performed by Bluffton Paving, Bluffton.

PUTNAM COUNTY

State Route 634 between state Route 613 and the village of Continental will be reduced to one lane through the work zone for resurfacing. Work is expected to continue through early June. Work is being performed by Gerken Paving, Inc., Napoleon.

State Route 189 between township Road R and township Road R-23, between Ottoville and Fort Jennings, is now open following a culvert replacement.

Pavement repair will restrict traffic to one lane along the following routes. Work is being performed by the ODOT Putnam County maintenance garage.

State Route 65 within the village of Columbus Grove

State Route 189 between U.S. 224 and state Route 115

State Route 190 between the Allen County line and Fort Jennings

U.S. 224 between the Van Wert County line and the Hancock County line

State Route 66 over U.S. 30, northwest of Delphos, will be affected by a bridge repair project. The project also includes resurfacing on state Route 66 between Delphos and Ottoville and on various routes within Delphos and Ottoville. Work is being performed by Bluffton Paving, Bluffton.

The project is anticipated to have the following impacts to traffic.

State Route 66 over U.S. 30 closed May 22 for approximately 21 days for bridge repair. The ramps at the interchange of state Route 66 and U.S. 30 will remain open.

Southbound traffic is detoured onto U.S. 30 westbound to Middle Point-Wetzel Road to U.S. 30 eastbound back to state Route 66.

Northbound traffic is detoured onto U.S. 30 eastbound to Fifth Street to U.S. 30 westbound back to state Route 66.

State Route 66, state Route 190 and state Route 697 within the city of Delphos will be restricted to one lane at various locations for pavement repairs.

State Route 66 and state Route 189 within the village of Ottoville will be restricted to one lane at various locations for pavement repairs.

SHELBY COUNTY

State Route 29 between state Route 274 and Pleiman Road, Daily lane closures May 18th – June 30th between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction using flaggers.

State Route 66 between state Route 47 and Russia Houston Road, Daily lane closures May 18th – June 30th between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction using flaggers.

State Route 66 between state Route 48 and Schlater Road, Daily lane closures May 14th – June 22nd between the hours of 7:30 am and 5:30 pm. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction using flaggers.

State Route 274 between Shroyer Road and Island Avenue, Lane closures April 9th – June 9th. One lane will remain open in each direction.

State Route 47 between Fifth Avenue and Wilkinson Avenue, Lane closures January 21st – November 27th. One lane will remain open in each direction.

State Route 65 between Davis Street and College Street, Intermittent lane closures June 11th – October 1st. One lane will remain open in each direction using a Law Enforcement Officer.

VAN WERT COUNTY

U.S. 30 between the Indiana state line and state Route 49 north will be restricted to one lane in both directions through the work zone for a rehabilitation project that will include resurfacing and concrete joint repair of U.S. 30. The project will continue through early July. Work is being performed by the Shelly Company, Findlay.

State Route 66 over U.S. 30, northwest of Delphos, will be affected by a bridge repair project. The project also includes resurfacing on state Route 66 between Delphos and Ottoville and on various routes within Delphos and Ottoville. Work is being performed by Bluffton Paving, Bluffton.

The project is anticipated to have the following impacts to traffic.

State Route 709 between county Road 103 and Goodwin Road, west of Venedocia, closed May 14 for approximately three weeks for the replacement of three culverts. Traffic is detoured onto state Route 116, state Route 81 and U.S. 127 back to state Route 709. Work is being performed by the ODOT Van Wert County maintenance garage.
