ADA — The Ada Police Department was called to the Ada school Wednesday regarding a threat written on a bathroom stall.
According to a release from the police department, the call was made by the school at 4 p.m. During the ensuing investigation, it became evident that an unnamed Ada high school student was the writer of the threat. The details of what was included in the threat were not released.
Police determined that there was no credible threat to the school, as the student did not have the means to follow through. The department is recommending charges of inducing panic and making terroristic threats against the student.
Police officers will be present at the school Thursday and Friday as part of their routine patrols.
