LIMA — A portion of Thayer Road, near the intersection of Bluelick Road, suffered significant damage Monday morning when a trailer containing a “cherry picker” man lift overturned.

According to a spokesman for the Lima post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a dump truck driven by Robby Robinson, 39, of Harrod, was northbound on Thayer Road towing a trailer containing the lift at approximately 10 a.m. when the vehicle went off the right edge of the roadway. Robinson over-corrected, causing the trailer to tip onto its side. Fuel and hydraulic fluid spilled from the equipment.

Robinson was not injured but was cited for failure to control.
