Tippie, 45, of St. Marys was transported to St. Rita’s Medical Center by the Lima Fire Dept. She was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. A rear seat passenger also identified as Alexa K. Tippie, age 67, of St. Marys was transported to St. Rita’s Medical Center by Shawnee Township Fire Department. She died shortly after arrival at the hospital. Both Alexas are mother and daughter, and Phyllis is the sister and aunt to the passengers.
