LIMA — The Lima Fire Department will flush fire hydrants throughout the city beginning Tuesday.
Flushing of the hydrants is necessary to provide better quality water and fire protection, according to a department spokesperson. Customers may experience fluctuations in pressure and/or discoloration of their water during flushing.
