Out-of-state homicide suspect nabbed in Lima

LIMA — A person of interest in a Mississippi homicide was taken into custody in Lima Thursday.

According to a news release, Lima Police executed a search warrant at 345 S. Pierce St. around noon.

Jonathan D. Odom, 27, of Forrest, Mississippi, was wanted for a murder out of Hillsboro, Mississippi.

He’s being held in the Allen County Jail.

Another man, Alonza Luster, 18, of Lima, was at the house and arrested on a drug-related charge.

He’s also being held in the Allen County Jail.

The search warrant was the result of an investigation by Lima Police, the U.S. Marshal’s Service and the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force.
