March 29

Marguerite E. Lause, Ottawa, and Robert J. Lause, Ottawa, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married Nov. 24, 2012 in Ottawa and have no children.

Michael Raye, Ottawa, and Dainna Raye, Ottawa, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married July 7, 2001 in Ottawa and have three children.

Paig A. Rose, Ottawa, and Danny J. Rose, Jr., Cloverdale, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married in Kalida and have no children.

March 30

Jesus Alvarado Jr., Box 56, Belmore, was found in contempt of not paying child support. He was found to be in arrears in the amount of $4,621.06 as of Feb. 28, 2018. Another hearing was set for 8:30 a.m. July 19 to give him an opportunity to purge the contempt action.

April 2

Sualin A. Balcarcel, 20, 711 N. Belmore St., Lot 30, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to attempted aggravated assault. He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 10 a.m. May 11. The trial set for April 24 was vacated.

April 3

The Huntington Bank, Columbus, was granted a foreclosure against Michael A. Hohenbrink, West Union, Iowa, and Nicole S. Hohenbrink, West Union, Iowa, in the amount of $85,483.08, plus interest and costs.

The Union Bank Co., Columbus Grove, was granted a foreclosure against James E. Place, Leipsic, and Sharon L. Place, Leipsic, in the amount of $14,857.93, plus interest and charges in the amount of $2,278.83, plus interest and costs.

Miranda Jones, Continental, was granted judgment against Stacy L. Deters, Columbus Grove, in the amount of $3,700, plus costs.

April 4

Cory J. Chamberlin, 26, 1 Main St., West Leipsic, was sentenced to 180 days jail for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. He was placed on five years’ community control and given credit for 59 days served. He must obtain and maintain employment and complete all counseling and treatment ordered. He must have no contact with the victim and register as a Tier Level 2 sex offender. A charge of importuning was dismissed.

Aaron M. Morales, 35, 103 Glancy St., Columbus Grove, was sentenced to 30 days jail for failure to pay child support. He was found to be in arrears in the amount of $3,898.91 as of Feb. 28, 2018. The jail was suspended provided he remain current in his payments and inform the local child support office of any changes in his employment.

April 5

Kevin J. Mesker, Delphos, and Amy M. Mesker, Delphos, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married June 17, 1989 in Fort Jennings and have no minor children.

Clifford D. Moneer, Ottoville, and Crystal L. Moneer, Holgate, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married Jan. 1, 2010 in Defiance and have two children.

Jennifer L. Hopkins, 36, 18231 Road K, Cloverdale, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second offense reckless operation. Sentence: Four points, 30 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, one-year license suspension.

Rogelio L. Pardo, 37, 205 Maple St., Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to persistent disorderly conduct. Sentence: 30 days jail, 23 days suspended, $150 fine, and complete mental health assessment.

Melissa Vogt, 44, 18893 Road 18-E, Continental, pleaded guilty to theft. Sentence: 180 days jail, 176 days suspended, $150 fine.

Jennifer L. Hopkins, 36, 18231 Road K, Cloverdale, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of second offense reckless operation. Sentence: Four points, 30 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, one-year license suspension.

Orlando Lopez, 33, 917 Hodges Drive, Columbus, charged with domestic violence, a felony, bound over to common pleas court.

Anthony A. Artressia, 29, 13 E. Center St., Leipsic, pleaded guilty to drug paraphernalia. Sentence: $150 fine.

Kenneth R. Lewis, 22, 210 Selhorst Drive, Apt. 204, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to drug possession. Sentence: $150 fine.

Clayton M. Beagle, 19, 07851 Road 18, Bryan, was found guilty of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Sentence: $150 fine, six-month license suspension.

Michael M. Van Dyke, 20, 315 N. Allen St., Bryan, was found guilty of possession of marijuana. Sentence: $150 fine.

April 5

John Hartz, 40, B081 State Route 108, New Bavaria, was found guilty of drug paraphernalia. Sentence: $150 fine.
