Ottawa River Cleanup to be held April 28

LIMA — The 25th annual Ottawa River Cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, April 28 at the American Red Cross. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Interested attendees are encouraged to print off and bring along the volunteer’s application form, which can be found online at www.lacrpc.com/environment/ottawa-river-cleanup.aspx

During the event, volunteers should wear old clothes and comfortable shoes that can get wet. Gloves are mandatory, and they will be provided if needed. Volunteers will also receive a free lunch, T-shirt and a certificate of appreciation for helping.
