Lima raid yields drugs, money and a gun

LIMA — Drugs and money were seized in a raid Wednesday morning in Lima.

According to a release from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office, at 8:30 a.m., the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force and the Allen County Sheriff’s SWAT Team, executed a search warrant at 2300 Kimberly Dr. Apt. 7 in Lima. An investigation the illegal sale of narcotics from this home prompted the raid.

Suspected marijuana, suspected fentanyl, currency, a firearm, and drug paraphernalia were seized. Dominique Quentez Simpson, 28, and several small children were in the home at the time of the raid, but no one was taken into custody.

The case will be presented to an Allen County Grand Jury at a later date, according to the release.
