ADA — Paul Finkelman, Ph.D., will discuss the origins of the Second Amendment at 4:15 p.m. Thursday, April 5, in room 129 at the Celebrezze Moot Courtroom at the Ohio Northern University College of Law.

The talk will be free and is part of the ONU Law Dean’s Lecture Series.

Finkleman will explain how the original meaning of the Second Amendment was about a “well-regulated militia” and not about individual rights to own firearms, even though people have to right to hunt.

Finkelman is president of Gratz College in Melrose, Pennsylvania.
