Putnam County Common Pleas Court

March 2

William L. Miller, 30, 603 Courtright St., McGuffey, was sentenced to 12 months in prison for theft. The sentence was ordered to be served concurrent with a Union County case. He was ordered to pay $1,369.96 restitution to Village Hardware, Leipsic.

Kevin M. Arnone, 33, 440 N. Taft St., Ottawa, was sentenced to 36 months in prison for violating the terms of supervision. He was given credit for 558 days served. He was originally convicted of attempted felonious assault and two counts assault.

March 5

Cory J. Chamberlin, 26, 1 Main St., West Leipsic, pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual conduct with minor. He faces up to 60 months in prison and $10,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing/sexual classification hearing is set for 2 p.m. April 4. A charge of importuning was dismissed.

Brian L. Pollock, 52, 542 W. Main St., Ottawa, pleaded guilty to theft from an elderly person. He faces up to 30 months in prison and $10,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence is conducted with sentencing set for 3:30 p.m. March 21. A charge of forgery was dismissed.

March 7

Sebastian Rodriguez, 29, 406 W. Main St., Belmore, was sentenced to 30 days in jail for failing to pay child support. He was found in arrears in the amount of $3,107.56 as of Jan. 31, 2018. All the days of the jail sentence were suspended provided he remain current with his payments and notify the local child support agency of any changes in his employment status.

Michael S. Minch, 34, 10587 Haller St., Defiance, was sentenced to 36 months in prison for violating the terms of supervision. The sentence was ordered to be served concurrent to a Defiance County case. He was given credit for 109 days served and must pay $80 restitution. He was originally charged with receiving stolen property and grand theft.

Malachi J. Trejo, 18, 107 Pearl St., Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to misuse of a credit card. He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 1:30 p.m. April 16.

Samuel J. Santana, 21, 333 E. Liberty St., Leipsic, was sentenced to 180 days jail for theft. The judge suspended 179 days provided he abide by all the rules of probation and pay $1,759.17 to Leipsic One Stop.

March 8

Kimberly Smith, Pandora and Craig Smith, Kalida, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married Sept. 25, 2010 in Ottawa and have no children.

Kimberly A. Schreiber, Ottawa, v. Production Products, Inc., Columbus Grove, and Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, Columbus; workers’ compensation.

Feb. 28

Marco Rocha, 24, 73 Ridge St., Belmore, charged with burglary, a felony, bound over to common pleas court.

March 1

Christopher C. Hyman, 20, 240 N. Eleventh St., Leipsic, pleaded guilty to drug paraphernalia. Sentence: $150 fine, six-month license suspension.

March 6

John G. Pardo, 30, 108 E. Center St., Leipsic, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of persistent disorderly conduct. Sentence: 30 days jail, 20 days suspended, $250 fine, suspended, complete mental health assessment and complete batterer’s intervention program.

March 7

Christopher S. Scott, 30, 303 E. Sycamore St., Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of reckless operation. Sentence: 30 days jail, 27 days suspended, $250 fine, six-month license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP.

March 8

Ryan A. Redd, 43, 15127 Road 5N, Pandora, pleaded no contest to first-offense OVI and was found guilty. Sentence: 180 days jail, 174 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one-year license suspension, with credit for six days jail upon completion of DIP, and complete alcohol assessment. A charge of reckless operation was dismissed.

Christopher L. Smith, 34, 101 S. Joslyn St., Arcadia, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 120 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, two-year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP, and complete assessment at Pathways Counseling Center. A charge of reckless operation was dismissed.

Blaine M. Warnimont, 21, 13406 Road 22K, Cloverdale, pleaded guilty to second-offense OVI. Sentence: 180 days jail, 160 days suspended, $1,000 fine, $475 suspended, three-year license suspension, with credit for six days jail upon completion of DIP, and complete assessment at Pathways Counseling Center. Charges of speeding, driving under suspension, underage possession, and consumption in a motor vehicle were dismissed.
