LIMA — The Springs of Lima, a senior living community campus, is expected to open in the summer and will be offering new services to the community to better satisfy its residents.

The Springs of Lima is a part of Trilogy Health Services LLC and is the sister company of Meadows of Delphos, Meadows of Kalida, Meadows of Ottawa, Meadows of Leipsic and Springview Manor.

Unlike Springview Manor in Lima, the new campus on 370 N. Eastown Road will offer assisted living and will be equipped with 23 suites. The facility will also offer memory care, long-term care, short-term rehab, outpatient therapy, respite care and adult care.

“Sometimes it is hard for people to make the decision to move their loved one into a memory care neighborhood and they would like to try it a little bit,” said Lori Gonzales, of the Trilogy marketing department. “That way they know that it’s a great fit and they can bring their loved one in and get them used to our staff.”

In addition the care services, the new campus will offer restaurant-style dining where residents can choose items from a cafe’ menu, grab breakfast throughout the morning and have dinner in private dining rooms with their families.

Residents can also participate in a Sunday brunch with their families, enjoy an alcoholic or non alcoholic drink during happy hour on Fridays, or participate in the Taste of the Town where residents get to enjoy food from local restaurants at the campus.

The company has family ambassadors to help with decision making.

Overall the company hopes to offer services that will not only satisfy the residents but make them feel like they are at home.

“We love to have fun and we believe that our campuses should be a place for our residents to live,” said Gonzales. “A fun place for our employees to work and a fun place for our families to come and visit.”
