MASSILLON — A woman whose husband was shot in their township home Friday afternoon told investigators she was the one who pulled the trigger.

Stark County Jail records show that Angela A. Webb, 38, of 6147 Hudson Drive SW, admitted she had shot her husband. No motive was listed.

Stark County Sheriff’s deputies, Brewster police and Navarre police were called to the report of a domestic violence-related shooting just before 5:30 p.m. Friday, according to an article in today’s Massillon Independent. A woman reportedly shot a man multiple times.

Both were taken to an area hospital. Webb later was booked into the jail at 12:20 a.m. Saturday on a charge of attempted murder.
