LIMA — January’s public officials dialogue will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Jan. 24 at the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce building, 144 S. Main St., Suite 100. Allen County Engineer Brion Rhodes will lead the discussion related to winter driving and other travel issues.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of the public officials dialogue, originally created to help bridge the gap between government officials and the greater public. Topics are chosen in order to generate discussion and make it easier for civil servants and citizenry to connect in an informal setting.
All county, township, village and city officials in Allen County are invited to share the meal, and a small donation of $5 is requested to help cover the cost of lunch.
