LIMA — Two fires at the same location in Lima are believed to be suspicious in nature.
The first fire at 809 Hope St. was called in at 8:14 p.m. Saturday. Lima firefighters extinguished that blaze. Then at 2:27 a.m. Sunday, firefighters were called to another fire at the same location. When crews arrived, they found the home fully engulfed.
The house and contents were valued at $38,900 and are both considered a total loss.
No one was at the residence at the time of either fire, and no one was hurt.
Lima Fire Department Batallion Chief Greg Kirkendall said that the fires remain under unvestigation.
