Dec. 15

Christopher N. Kaminski, 33, 2741 119th St., Toledo, was sentenced to 130 days jail for violating the terms of community control. He was given credit for 52 days served and was ordered to pay for the costs of prosecution. He was originally convicted of theft of checks.

Dec. 19

Brent T. Burns, 36, 447 Appian Ave., Napoleon, was granted vacation of his sentence and ordered released from the Putnam County Jail immediately. He was convicted of grand theft of a motor vehicle.

Madison N. Fenbert, 20, 1115 Sheridan St., Scott, was found to be in violation of the terms of community control. A sentencing date was scheduled for 1 p.m. Jan. 17, 2018. She had been convicted of attempted burglary.

Bryan Vaughn, Anthem, Ariz., v. United States Steel Corp., and Columbus, Pro-Tec Coating Co., Leipsic (excess of $25,000); other civil.

Cavalry Spv I, LLC, Valhalla, N.Y., v. Gery Sholl, Continental ($26,407.07); other civil.

Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions

Dec. 18

Brett E. Vorhees, 43, 19033 Road 18R, Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to first-offense OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 90 days suspended, $750 fine, five-year license suspension, and complete drug and alcohol assessment. A charge of speeding was dismissed.

Emily K. Schoepfle, 24, 106 E. Williamstown Road, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of disorderly conduct. Sentence: $100 fine.

Dec. 19

Todd E. Croy, 49, 424 Kennedy St., Ottawa, pleaded guilty to OVI second-offense. Sentence: 180 days jail, 164 days suspended, $1,000 fine, $425 suspended and three-year license suspension, with credit for six days jail upon completion of DIP. A charge of speeding was dismissed.

Ross M. Beckman, 30, 227 Green Meadow Drive, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to OVI controlled substance. Sentence: 180 days jail, 174 days suspended, $375 fine, one-year license suspension, and complete alcohol and drug assessment, with credit for six days jail upon completion of DIP. Another OVI charge and a charge of headlights required were dismissed.

Jason Mansfield, 30, 140 Franklin Street, Gilboa, pleaded no contest to drug paraphernalia and was found guilty. Sentence: $150 fine. He also pleaded no contest to drug possession and was found guilty. Sentence: $150 fine.

Jason R. Powell, 36, 161 Walnut Drive, Kalida, was found guilty of drug abuse/possession. Sentence: $150 fine. He was also found guilty of drug paraphernalia. Sentence: $150 fine.

Dec. 21

Robert V. Poland, 31, 108½ South Ave., Pandora, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 174 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one-year license suspension, and complete alcohol and drug assessment, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP. He was also fined $50 for left of center.
