Allen East junior headed to Statehouse to testify


HARROD — Caitlyne Spees, a junior at Allen East High School, is traveling to Columbus Wednesday to visit the Statehouse to testify for the passing of House Bill 293.

Spees is a member of the Allen East High School Students Against Destructive Decisions.

Spees was invited by AAA of Ohio representative Kimberly Schwind to help push the bill through. House bill 293 deals with the extension of the driving permit period along with other specifications to help keep new drivers safe.
