Nov. 27

United Guaranty Residential Insurance, Cincinnati, was granted a foreclosure judgment against Shawn J. Schnee, Hamilton, and Candace E. Schnee, Hamilton, in the amount of $48,618.57, plus interest and costs.

Nov. 28

Putnam County Prosecutor Gary L. Lammers requested the appointment of a special prosecutor in a matter under investigation for alleged criminal violations of law against a local law enforcement officer at the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office. Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine appointed Associate Assistant Attorney General Micah R. Ault to prosecute the within action.

First Federal Bank of the Midwest, Defiance, was granted a foreclosure judgment against Alice R. Leary, Columbus Grove, Julia A. Leary, Columbus Grove, and Brian H. Leary, Columbus Grove, in the amount of $21,794.21.

Nov. 29

Ricky E. Deal, 46, 932 Summit, St. Findlay, was ordered to undergo drug and alcohol counseling at Century Health, Findlay, due to violating the terms of supervision. He was placed on three years’ community control, maintain and obtain employment, attend AA and or NA sessions. His driver’s license is suspended for life. He was originally convicted of driving under the influence, with specification, tampering with evidence and identity fraud.

Nov. 27

Marissa J. Jennings, 23, 304 Main St., Ottawa, pleaded guilty to first-offense OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one-year license, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP.

Salvador Pena, Jr., 38, 563 S. Oak St., Ottawa, pleaded guilty to non-compliance suspension. Sentence: $500 fine, suspended. He was also fined $250 on another count.

Nov. 28

Donavan M. Earl, 18, 319 E. Lincoln Ave., Ada, pleaded guilty to drug paraphernalia. Sentence: $150 fine, 180-day license suspension.

Nov. 30

Cole W. Giesken, 19, 2879 Briargrove Lane, Cridersville, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one-year license suspension, complete an alcohol and drug assessment, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP. Charges of criminal damaging, drug paraphernalia, and drug abuse/possession were dismissed.

Pascual P. Barajaz, 46, 1609 Bank St., Findlay, pleaded guilty to an amended offense of physical control. Sentence: 180 days jail, 90 days suspended, $1,000 fine, one-year license suspension, and complete a drug and alcohol assessment. He also pleaded guilty to an amended offense of 2-point suspension. Sentence: 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $100 fine, sentence to be served consecutive. A charge of speeding was dismissed.

Aaron R. Kellum, 22, 973 N. Baxter St., Lima, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of persistent disorderly conduct. Sentence: 30 days jail, 19 days suspended, $250 fine.
