Village of Patterson out of fiscal emergency

PATTERSON — The Ohio Auditor’s Office is reporting that the village of Patterson in Hardin County has achieved financial stability after four years in fiscal emergency.

After deficit fund balances, a treasury deficit and past due accounts payable, the village passed a 1 percent income tax levy, generating $13,000 annually, and also sold the village hall and property, gaining an additional $1,501.
