LIMA — The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Dayton said it will open a new outpatient clinic in Lima in the spring.
The new site at 750 High St. will replace the existing clinic at at 1303 Bellefontaine Ave.
The new clinic will offer 9,750 square feet, an increase from the old clinic’s 8,341 square feet. The new site will also have about 100 parking spaces, additional rooms for nursing clinics, dedicated exam rooms for telehealth and other specialty services.
VA officials said the number of veterans served at Bellefontaine Avenue clinic has increased by 10.5 percent in the past two years.
