ADA — President Emeritus Kendall Baker and former first lady Toby Baker will be honored by Ohio Northern University during a ceremony to be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at the university.

The event, to be held near Affinity Village along Polar Bear and Loop Road south of the Freed Center for the Performing Arts, will dedicate the new Baker Commons area. Baker had served as the university’s 10th president from 1999 until 2011, overseeing the development of the Baker Commons area, which includes the Dicke House, Stadium View Apartments, Klondike’s Den, Polar Place, Dial-Roberson Stadium, the Remington Walk, Northern Commons and Affinity Village.
