Sept. 11

Shawn Budd, 39, 18287 Road C, Continental, was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 15 years for rape with specification (victim younger than age 10), seven years for illegal use of a minor in nudity material or performance and seven years for pandering obscenity involving a minor. The second and third charge was ordered consecutive to the first charge and he was given credit for 173 days served.

Sept. 13

Tax Ease Ohio, LLC, Dallas, Texas, was granted a foreclosure against Hills & Dales Realty, Inc., Richwood, and Shane Lawhorn, Cloverdale, in the amounts of $8,629.46, $2,841.72, $1,927.16, $570, and $1,960.

Sept. 14

Dale E. Collins, 45, 107½ Truax Road, Cloverdale, was sentenced to five days in jail for possession of drugs. He was given credit for time served and placed on five years community control. He must complete an assessment and treatment at Pathways Counseling Center. He must obtain and maintain employment and his GED. Charges of possessing drug paraphernalia, operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, and turn and stop signals, all misdemeanors, were dismissed.

Rico P. Quintero, 1350 N. Locust St., Apt. 404, Ottawa, was sentenced to 30 days in jail for failing to pay child support. He was found guilty of a second offense in total arrears of $8,194.77, as of July 31, 2017. The judge suspended 20 days of the jail on condition he remain current in his payments, seek work and was ordered to serve 10 days in jail previously suspended from his first contempt.

Norman Deters, Pandora, was granted a divorce from Linda L. Deters, Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania. They were married Oct. 10, 1987, and have no children.

Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions

Sept. 8

Cory J. Kottenbrock, 24, 821 Oak Parkway, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended offense of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: 30 days jail, 27 days suspended, $250 fine, one-year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP. He was also fined $50 for speeding. A charge of marked lanes was dismissed.

Sept. 11

Jeremy J. Detwiler, 25, 10921 Road 20-J, Cloverdale, pleaded guilty to theft. Sentence: 180 days jail, 170 days suspended, $150 fine and pay restitution of $6.99 to Ottawa Party Mart. He also pleaded guilty to another charge of theft. Sentence: 180 days jail, 170 days suspended, $150 fine and pay restitution of $13.29 to Ottawa Party Mart, with sentence to be served consecutive.

Kimberly R. Smith, 40, 210 E. Washington St., Pandora, pleaded guilty to village income tax. Sentence: 10 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, suspended, on condition of compliance with payment plan with village of Pandora.

Nikki E. Boyed, 49, 314 N. High St., Pandora, pleaded guilty to village income tax. Sentence: 10 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, suspended, on condition of compliance with payment plan with village of Pandora.

Timothy A. Ramirez, 40, Box 382, Pandora, pleaded guilty to village income tax. Sentence: 10 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, suspended, on condition of compliance with payment plan with village of Pandora.

Chad A. Kennedy, 31, 929 Skye Drive, Findlay, pleaded no contest to drug paraphernalia and was found guilty. Sentence: One-year license suspension, $150 fine. He was also fined $150 for unsafe operation around an emergency vehicle and $50 for tinted windows.

Thomas A. Medsker, 46, 4200 Neely Road, Elida, pleaded guilty to drug abuse/possession. Sentence: $150 fine.

Martin R. Lawhorn, 58, 107 Truax Road, Cloverdale, pleaded guilty to forfeited license. Sentence: $150 fine. He was also fined $50 for open container and $50 for failure to display.

Sept. 12

Tyler L. Sifuentes, 27, 5948 US Route 6, McClure, OVI, pleaded guilty to drug paraphernalia. Sentence: $150 fine. Charges of driving under OVI suspension, open container, drug abuse/possession and drug paraphernalia were dismissed.

Rodney J. Bundley, 58, 225½ Vine St., Lima, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension. Sentence: 180 days jail, suspended, $150 fine.

Ashley N. Reynolds, 25, 1227 N. Defiance St., Ottawa, pleaded guilty to endangering children. Sentence: 180 days jail, suspended, $150 fine, and complete assessment at Pathways Counseling Center. Another count was dismissed.

Theresa D. Steinberger, 28, 1500 W. High St., Lima, pleaded guilty to driving under OVI suspension. Sentence: 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $250 fine.

Cynthia M. Teegarden, 41, 107½ Truax Road, Cloverdale, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of driving under suspension. Sentence: 180 days jail, suspended, $250 fine.
