OTTAWA — A Master Gardener training program will be offered by the Putnam County Extension office this year.
Local experts and specialists from Ohio State University will teach sessions on topics including botany, vegetable gardening, tree selection and ID, fruit tree care and many others.
Classes will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with an hour break. They begin Tuesday, Oct. 3 run consecutively until Nov. 23. Classes will be held at the Putnam County Extension office, 1206 E. Second St., Ottawa.
The entire course will cost $125 per person or $150 per couple, which covers the book and resource material.
