LIMA — The Lima City School District is inviting all district staff, students and supporters to show their Spartan pride in this year’s Labor Day Parade.
The parade will be held Monday along Main Street in Lima. It has become a tradition for the school district to take part, and its group of walkers is always large, according to a statement from the district.
Line-up begins at 9:15 a.m. in front of St. Gerard Catholic Church on Main Street. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. Lima schools will be with the Lima Senior Marching Pride, Spartan Cheerleaders, Sparty and the Spartan.
Supporters are asked to wear Spartan attire. People can bring individually wrapped candy to toss to parade watchers.
