LIMA — Area businesses can now put a poster in their windows to remind people to remove children from hot cars.
Temperatures inside a parked car can rise to 100 degrees Fahrenheit when the outside temperature is 78 degrees, making it an unhealthy place for a child.
The 8 1/2- by 11-inch posters are labeled, “It’s hot out today. Where’s my child?” with an image of a car in the sun.
Anyone interested in getting a poster can call Pokey Ley at 419-331-3136 or 419-302-5253.
