LIMA — Jodi Wireman has been promoted by Apollo Adult Education to serve as Coordinator of the Aspire - ABLE/GED/ESOL program.
The program recently changed names but still assists residents in getting their GED diploma, upgrade their academic skills, or become job ready.
Apollo Adult Education offers these services free of charge in five counties. Wireman will oversee the English Speakers of Other Languages program along with a staff of 16 part-time instructors.
Wireman is a lifelong Bath resident and obtained her Master of Education from Ohio State University, Lima. She received her certificate as a certified manager in program improvement and was given the leadership excellence academics award through the national adult education professional development consortium and the center for literacy education and employment.
