July 10

Robert J. Nichols II, 32, of 10033 state Route 224, Ottawa, was sentenced to 30 months in prison for violating the terms of supervision. The violations include being unsuccessfully discharged from the WORTH Center on March 30. He was given credit for 309 days served, plus any additional days served pending transfer. He was originally convicted of failure to appear and possession of drugs.

Jarrod R. Gonzales, of Ottawa, and Ashley Gonzales, of Findlay, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married July 6, 2015, in Putnam County, and have no children.

July 11

Jonathon E. Maxwell, 30, of 13535 Fulmer Road, Lot 4, Defiance, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for violating the terms of supervision. The violations include using cocaine May 3, using marijuana April 30, and changing his address May 5 without permission. He was given credit for 54 days served, plus any additional days served pending transfer. He was originally convicted of failure to register as a sex offender.

Alex J. Rosengarten, 22, of 1570 N. Perry St., Lot 66, Ottawa, was sentenced to 180 days jail for violating the terms of supervision. The violations include operating a motor vehicle without a valid license on April 28 in Putnam County, using marijuana May 1, acting in a disorderly manner May 20, and failing to report for a scheduled office visit as directed May 9 and May 22. He also failed to report to a scheduled visit to Pathways on May 9. He was given credit for 101 days served. He was originally convicted of an amended charge of assault.

Dana M. Cherry, 36, of 3135 Road Q, Pandora, was sentenced to three years community control for violating the terms of supervision. The violations include possessing and using heroin, drug abuse instruments, and drug paraphernalia while in Lucas County on April 24. He must continue treatment at Pathways Counseling Center, undergo drug use monitoring, and drug assessment and treatment. He was originally convicted of two counts possession of heroin.

July 12

Pandora Grain & Supply Inc., Pandora, was granted judgment against William R. Morris, of Columbus, in the amount of $12,212, plus interest and costs.

July 13

Alicia J. Fenbert, 35, of 118 S. Pearl St., Spencerville, was sentenced to 30 days in jail for failing to pay child support (second offense) with 24 days suspended. She was found to be in arrears in the amount of $6,852 as of May 31.

Nina J. Brown, 19, of 153 Oak St., Apt. B, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs (LSD). She faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a presentence investigation is conducted.

Alexander D. Cress, 20, of 105 W. Pendleton St., Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material or performance. He faces up to 18 months in prison for the first charge and eight years for the second. Bond was continued while a presentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 1:30 p.m. Aug. 16. Three counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor were dismissed.

July 5

Lorenzo M. Martin, 19, of 251 N. Concord Drive, Apt. 11, Ottawa, was fined $150 for driving under FRA non-compliance suspension.

July 6

Kain L. Staugler, 34, of 12018 state Route 613, Ottawa, was fined $150 for drug abuse/possession. He was also fined $50 for seat belt/driver.

Zackery B. Johnson, 26, of 20650 state Route 694, Cloverdale, was fined $150 for drug abuse/possession. He was also fined $150 for drug paraphernalia and $50 for speeding.

Adam T. Hector, 29, of 1883 S. Agner St., Ottawa, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension license forfeiture. Sentence: $250 fine.

July 10

Matthew Escamilla, 19, of 230 Riverview Drive, Ottawa, pleaded no contest to underage possession and was found guilty. Sentence: 180 days jail, 179 days suspended, $250 fine, complete substance abuse program at Pathways Counseling and complete 30 hours community service.

Bret E. Grayson, 44, of 9002 state Route 65, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. Sentence: $100 fine.

Grace R. Kellum, 18, of 7362 Road 12, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to driving under OVI suspension. Sentence: 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $250 fine and one-year license suspension.

July 11

Benjamin L. Smith, 25, of 18354 state Route 634, Fort Jennings, pleaded guilty to obstructing official business. Sentence: 30 days jail, 29 days suspended, $250 fine, $100 suspended. He was also fined $100 for failure to display reg/expired plates. Charges of drug abuse possession and drug paraphernalia were dismissed.

July 12

Alfredo Arrizola, 65, of 229 Taft St., Ottawa, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension. Sentence: $350 fine.
