July 6

Michael G. Luebrecht, 49, Allen Correctional, has a trial scheduled for 9 a.m. Sept. 11 with three days allotted. Another pre-trial hearing is scheduled for Aug. 4. Luebrecht was convicted of aggravated murder in the drowning death of his 13-month-old son, Joel, in the bathtub at his Fort Jennings home on May 23, 2005. He was sentenced to life in prison with parole after 25 years on March 3, 2006, by Putnam County Common Pleas Judge Randall Basinger. Luebrecht’s attorney asked the court to allow Luebrecht to withdraw his guilty plea arguing the cocktail of medications he was taking for mental health issues contributed to the crime. The motion to withdraw the guilty plea was granted May 5.

July 3

Cheryl A. Lewis-Elliott, 46, 13730 Road 22K, Cloverdale, pleaded guilty to theft of a debit card and theft from an elderly. She faces up 30 months in prison and $7,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 10 a.m. Aug. 11.

July 6

Michelle Escobedo, Ottawa, and Gamaliel Escobedo, Leipsic, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married April 4, 2007, in Ottawa, and have three children.

Emily Duling, Ottawa, and Francis L. Duling, Ottawa, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married Aug. 10, 2013 in Ottawa, and have no children.

Tax Ease Ohio LLC, Dallas, Texas, was granted a foreclosure judgment against Linda K. Burkhart, Pandora, in the amounts of $2,409.93 and $1,166.34, plus interest and costs.

Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions

June 29

Ernest Gonzales, 29, 2801 S. Main St., Apt. B8, Findlay, pleaded guilty to driving under non-compliance suspension. Sentence: $1,000 fine, $750 suspended.

July 3

Jane F. Klemm, 71, 214 S. Main St., Glandorf, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one-year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP, and complete assessment at Pathways Counseling Center. Another charge of OVI was dismissed.

July 6

William H. Lucas IV, 18, 405 W. Sycamore St., Apt. E, Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to criminal mischief. Sentence: 60 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, and $29.20 restitution to St. Anthony School, Columbus Grove, must perform 100 hours community service within 180 days.

Andrew D. Wright, 38, 1948 Burch Ave., Lima, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of attempted assault. Sentence: 90 days jail, suspended, $250 fine.
