June 26

Ruben E. Romero, 36, 813 Cherry St., Montpelier, was sentenced to 100 days in jail for tampering with evidence. He was given credit for 73 days served and was placed on three years community control. He must obtain employment, undergo counseling, obtain a valid operator’s license and not possess any firearms. He must comply with all deportation rules. A charge of possession of drugs was dismissed.

June 27

Christine D. Roe, Fort Jennings, and John R. Roe, Bluffton, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married May 6, 1988 in Bluffton, and have no minor children.

Nicholas Reinhart, Cloverdale, was granted a divorce from Angela Reinhart, Findlay. They were married Dec. 30, 2005, and have two children.

June 28

Brian L. Pollock, 51, 261 N. Sherman St., Ottawa, pleaded guilty to forgery (uttering). He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 8:30 a.m. Aug. 30. A charge of receiving stolen property was dismissed.

June 29

Jacquelyn N. Hiegel, 35, 13899 County Road 16, Pandora, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs (heroin). She faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 9 a.m. July 27.

Douglas N. Schnipke, 52, 10135 Road H, Ottawa, admitted to contempt. If he pays the remaining obligation of $795 within 45 days, the contempt shall be purged.

Julie M. Knott, Ottawa, was granted a divorce from Jason G. Knott, Ottawa. They were married May 26, 2001 in Glandorf, and have two children.

June 30

Scott J. Wilson, 56, 583 S. Perry St., Ottawa, was sentenced to 90 days jail for failure to register (arson), and having weapons under disability. He was placed on five years’ community control and given credit for one day served. He must obtain a drug and alcohol assessment, have only one medical provider and one pharmacy and forfeit his firearm. Another count of failure to register was dismissed.

Vicki J. Doty, Columbus Grove, v. Jared L. Brown, Columbus Grove, Hastings Mutual Insurance Co., Hastings, Mich.; personal injury (excess $25,000).

Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions

June 20

Jessica R. Bibler, 33, 11606 Road 24, Cloverdale, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of reckless operation. Sentence: $150 fine. A charge of marked lanes was dismissed.

June 21

Ricardo Minjarez, 48, 235 Rush St., Leipsic, pleaded no contest to persistent disorderly and was found guilty. Sentence: 30 days jail, 25 days suspended, $50 fine, and complete mental health assessment.

June 22

Drummond R. Oliver, 45, 711 N. Belmore St., Lot 23, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to driving guilty to under FRA suspension. Sentence: 30 days jail, 28 days suspended, $250 fine.

June 26

Kimberly A. Okuley, 36, 205 E. Maple St., Columbus Grove, pleaded no contest to criminal mischief and was found guilty. Sentence: 10 days jail, suspended, $500 fine, $400 suspended, and no contact with victims.

Sophia S. Wilks, 31, 51 Third St., Lot 8, Leipsic, pleaded no contest to driving under suspension and was found guilty. Sentence: $1,000 fine, $750 suspended, if she validates license within 90 days.

June 29

James D. Schindler, 19, 1023 Ottawa Ave., Defiance, pleaded guilty to drug paraphernalia. Sentence: $150 fine. He was fined $150 for drug abuse/possession and $50 for speeding. A charge of carrying a concealed weapon was dismissed.

Levi J. Troyer, 27, 20611 Road E-16, Continental, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of physical control. Sentence: 30 days jail, 25 days suspended, $250 fine, six-month license suspension, with credit for five days jail upon completion of DIP. Charges of reckless operation, two counts, drug abuse possession and drug paraphernalia were dismissed.

Ernest Gonzales, 29, 2801 S. Main St., Apt. B8, Findlay, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension. Sentence: $1,000 fine, $750 suspended.
