Wapak Pool set to open for Memorial Day weekend

WAPAKONETA —The Wapakoneta Water Park is set to open Saturday at noon, depending on the weather, the city announced.

The park’s zero-entry pool will be shown, but it will be roped off until final inspection is approved.

The water park will typically be open through the season from noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Adult swim times for parkgoers are 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday and Thursday. Family mornings are Wednesday, from 11 a.m. to noon, and Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

Children younger than 5 are admitted free; youth ages 5 to 17 get in for $6 and adults get in for $8.
