City officials clarify Community Entertainment District details

LIMA —The city of Lima’s Community Entertainment District runs along North and South Main Street from Grand Avenue to the north and Fourth Street to the south, covering odd and even addresses.

It extends into the downtown area covering the DORA and the even and odd addresses on West Street from North to Elm, and Spring Street, Market Street and High Street, from the railroad tracks south of Union Street to Metcalf.

In addition to the $100 processing fee for an application to acquire a liquor license in the district, there is also a $2,344 permit fee.
