Rhodes State receives grant for ag tech education

LIMA —Rhodes State College has been awarded over a half million dollars to provide high school students with opportunities in educational agriculture technology from the National Science Foundation.

Senator Sherrod Brown announced the $526,765 grant to Rhodes State in a press release.

“We unleash more American innovation when we nurture Ohio talent,” Brown said in the release. “This award will help James A. Rhodes State College students prepare for careers at good-paying, skilled jobs, and continue Ohio’s leadership in innovation.”

The National Science Foundation supports research and education in all non-medical fields of science and engineering.
