LIMA — Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center has awarded Crime Victim Services three grants totaling $26,200 to continue their services in the area.According to a recent press release, the grants were awarded in 2022 and will be used for services in 2023.
The first grant of $10,000 will go towards equipping Pediatric Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners. The funding will help to provide more PSANE staffing. The second grant of $10,000 will go toward the Elder Victim Ministry program. The grant will help fund services already provided including safety devices and grocery vouchers. The final grant of $6,200 will help the Guardian program that ensures guardianship to adults in need.
